The Bothy by Wildsmith at Heckfield Place

The Bothy by Wildsmith is Heckfield Place’s nature-led wellbeing space in Hampshire, connecting treatments, movement, hydrotherapy and time outdoors with the estate’s wider regenerative approach. It is deliberately digital-free and available only to resident guests and Friends of Heckfield Place.

Why visit

The 17,000-square-foot space includes the 18-by-6-metre Waters, thermal and hydrotherapy experiences, movement areas and access to specialist practitioners. Wildsmith treatments draw on natural rhythms and are intended to sit within a slower visit rather than a tightly scheduled sequence of appointments.

Treatments and longer stays

Guests can combine hands-on therapies with movement programmes, thermal experiences and time in the grounds. The wellbeing team can also curate longer journeys and retreats during a stay. Treatments may be adapted for some allergies or injuries, but suitability should be agreed directly in advance.

• The Bothy is restricted to resident guests and Friends of Heckfield Place.
• Guests must be aged 16 or over.
• Access to the Waters, movement spaces, hydrotherapy and thermal experiences should be reserved in advance.
• The Bothy recommends allowing at least three hours rather than treating it as a brief appointment.
• A minimum of 24 hours’ notice is required for cancellation; later cancellations may be charged in full.
• Pregnancy treatments and movement have specific timing and suitability restrictions that should be discussed before booking.
