Corporate Wellness in the heart of Mayfair

House of ELEMIS Mayfair exterior in Lancashire Court

Corporate wellness · London

A discreet Mayfair address for a treatment between meetings, shopping or a London stay—revisited from The Spa Traveller’s original House of ELEMIS reporting.

Original visit and review published 1 October 2022. Current planning information checked for this beta edition.

House of ELEMIS, Mayfair

In the heart of Mayfair, House of ELEMIS offers an urban pause for desk-bound professionals and visitors seeking restorative calm just moments from Oxford Street.

House of ELEMIS Mayfair exterior in Lancashire Court

Originally launched as a London day spa in 2001, House of ELEMIS occupies a townhouse tucked within Lancashire Court, one of Mayfair’s hidden pedestrian courtyards. The location feels removed from the nearby retail bustle while remaining easy to combine with a West End itinerary.

On the original visit, reception doubled as a boutique for ELEMIS skincare and body products. The clientele reflected the neighbourhood: shoppers pausing between appointments and local professionals treating the spa as a practical wellness address.

A treatment here works best as a deliberate pause in the day—not another appointment to rush through.

The treatment experience

My treatment took place in The Penthouse, an airy top-floor room beneath a glass skylight. After discussing desk-related shoulder tension and dehydrated skin, the therapist tailored a deep-tissue massage using ELEMIS body products, concentrating on the neck and upper back. The pressure was firm but controlled and relaxation soon outweighed the occasional sound of the city outside.

The original ritual used Frangipani Monoi Body Oil, chosen for its rich texture and tropical fragrance. Product and treatment menus change, so confirm the current ritual when booking if a particular formula matters to you.

Afterwards, water and a juice shot provided a gentle transition back into Lancashire Court. The most persuasive detail was not theatrical luxury but convenience: a polished treatment experience that could realistically fit around a working London day.

Plan your visit

  • Allow: extra arrival time for consultation and a calm departure
  • Accessibility: ask the spa directly about step-free access and the most suitable treatment room before booking

The Spa Traveller verdict

House of ELEMIS suits travellers and professionals who value a recognisable treatment house, an intimate Mayfair location and the ability to turn a busy day into something more considered. Book for the treatment rather than a resort-style thermal journey.
