Accessibility · The Spa Traveller
A better experience should be usable by more people
We are working to make The Spa Traveller easier to read, navigate and use across devices, assistive technologies and different access needs.
Accessibility is an ongoing product and editorial responsibility. We do not claim perfect conformance, and we welcome specific reports of barriers.

What we are working towards
Practical accessibility across the whole journey
Our goal is to align the site with WCAG 2.2 AA principles where practical, while continuing to test real pages, forms, navigation and interactive tools.
Structure & headings
Pages should use a logical heading order and meaningful landmarks so content is easier to scan and navigate with assistive technology.
Keyboard & focus
Menus, forms, buttons and interactive controls should remain operable from the keyboard with visible focus states.
Images & media
Informative images should have useful text alternatives. Decorative images should avoid creating unnecessary noise for screen-reader users.
Forms & errors
Labels, instructions and validation messages should make forms understandable without relying only on colour or visual position.
Known limitations
Some areas may still need improvement
The site is actively being rebuilt and migrated. During that work, some older content, third-party embeds, advertising units, affiliate tools or legacy components may not yet meet the standard we want.
Third-party services
Booking partners, video players, advertising services and embedded tools can have accessibility behaviour outside our direct control.
Legacy content
Older stories and pages may still contain structures or media added before the current accessibility standard was adopted.
Continuous testing
We are treating accessibility as an ongoing QA requirement rather than a one-off declaration.
